The Family Food Security and Nutrition 8-Month Workshop equips families with the skills and confidence to create nourishing, nutrient-dense meals while building lasting, sustainable food habits. The theme for 2026 is "Fast Affordable and Healthy Meals". Participants learn hands-on techniques for food storage, meal prep, and cooking that preserve freshness, boost nutrition, and minimize waste. These powerful skills not only support everyday health but also strengthen household resilience—helping families stay fed during emergencies, financial hardship, or unexpected disruptions.
Led by Kelly Dearie, these ongoing classes are fun, inspiring, and highly interactive—bringing people together to build stronger, healthier communities.
