Volunteer Opportunities Available

FundraisersVital to our ability to provide nutritious food to our neighbors in need, we conduct two main fundraisers and two smaller ones:
1) Run for Food 5k run/walk on Thanksgiving Day.
Volunteers are needed for marketing, sponsor relations, raffle management, participant management, t-shirt management, course set-up/monitors/sweep, finish line/results management, awards management, photography and clean up. Late November is very cold, especially at 8:45am! So sign up, bundle up and join us for this spirited event.2) North State Giving Tuesday.
Held the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, this social media based fundraiser allows for donor dollars to grow with incentive pool funds from Shasta Regional Community Foundation. We would appreciate anyone with social media expertise to join us the day of the event, from 6am to 6pm to keep the interest fresh with hourly posts. Preparation involves photo collection throughout the year, which we try to do. Great imagination and a big heart for what we do will add to your effectiveness on our team. -
